Rivers of France & Spain Cruise 2016
Join Braemar and enjoy an exciting Easter period sailing to charming French and Spanish cities. En route to some of Europe's finest destinations, you'll embark on over 300 nautical miles of unforgettable scenic cruising along the beautiful Guadalquivir, Gironde, Garonne and Seine Rivers. Docking in the middle of Seville, you won’t need to endure a long coach journey from Cadiz like you do on other cruises, meaning you can enjoy the sight of the city's stunning architecture – including the UNESCO-listed Catedral de Sevilla and beautiful Real Alcázar – as soon as you step foot off the ship.
Braemar - 18 March 2016 - 14 Nights
In Bordeaux – the 'world’s wine capital' – you’ll be perfectly placed to explore the UNESCO-listed historic centre of the ‘Pearl of Aquitane’ and visit the intoxicating Medoc region, where some of the world’s finest wines are produced. The final port of call is the magical city of Rouen, home to elaborate architecture interlaced with traditional houses and quaint shops. You'll have the choice to either stay in Rouen and admire wonderful buildings and structures including the 4th century gothic cathedral in the medieval Old Town, or join a tour to the French capital, Paris – the city of love. Departing after an overnight stay, you will then enjoy a relaxing glide along the winding River Seine. Be on the look out for charming villages perched on the banks of the river as these are home to some of the region's prettiest churches and houses.
