New York is arguably the most exciting city on earth and you have two days to take in the famous skyscrapers, Fifth Avenue stores, Central Park, the Statue of Liberty, the Empire State Building and much more. Boston beckons: the hi-tech skyscrapers, classic Georgian buildings and fascinating Freedom Trail await your discovery.
There are also calls to authentic US destinations such as Norfolk, Virginia – another maiden call for Fred. Explore beautiful Botanical Gardens, stroll along the vibrant waterfront and visit the Chrysler Museum of Art. Newport is a haven for hikers thanks to the three-mile cliff walking trail that encompasses the beautiful shoreline, historic architecture and varied flora and fauna. Portland – Maine’s largest city – is your final US call. Wander through the cobbled streets and discover the quaint shops of the Old Port, then sail to Canada to discover the historic sights, pretty fishing villages and picture-perfect scenery of Nova Scotia and Newfoundland.
